The position of Chalet Perdu in Les Gets is unrivalled, surrounded by open ground on four sides, yet almost impossible to see. A garden in a ski resort is rare yet here so close to the lift and in the centre Chalet Perdu has it all.
The balcony wraps around the chalet on three sides and has quite simply some of the most stunning views in Europe. Sunset or sunrise is an eruption of colour at either end of the valley and here you will witness the true Portes Du Soleil.
The interior of the chalet is decorated to a high standard, antique pine beds, individual pieces of handpainted and antique furniture, the soft glow of elegant lamps and burnished leather sofas welcome guests. Family groups and adults looking for style and convenience will find Chalet Perdu the perfect location.
The 5 bedrooms are individually decorated and are either ensuite or have a dedicated bathroom- feather duvets and fine linens provide a dreamy peaceful, recuperative sleep - no rowdy passers by or screeching snow ploughs! Each room has far reaching views over the mountains. Hairdryers are provided in each room and anti allergy bedlinen is available by request

Relax by the fire, antique Turkish carpets and leather sofas suround the stone chimney breast, sip champagne pre dinner or just enjoy the peaceful setting and the views over the mountains. The fireside area is adjacent to the dining area on the first floor.
French doors with the tinkle of sleigh bells open unto the balcony - you will find chairs and a little old table left by the original owner - wicker with a snowflake woven into the centre - why not have a snowy early breakfast for two before Les Gets comes to life!

The dining table can expand to seat 12 and is elegantly set each evening with fine porcelain and candles. Dinner is erved at 7.30 or by arrangement and chef will leave you with the cheesboard around 9.30 -the night is your own in Chalet Perdu.

The kitchen is separate from the dining and living area and on this first floor you will also find Eglantine (double ensuite) and Gentiane(triple )
Downstairs you will find another area which is ideal for those wanting a noisier, action packed form of relaxation. Two leather sofas and large turkish floor cushions provide a real home from home - watching films, playing games . Playstation, Nintendo Wii and Satellite TV

Campanule (twin with Shower room), Tulipe (single ensuite) and Violette (twin ensuite) open from this area.
The grounds of Chalet Perdu have been extensively landscaped and have terraces on each side. On the East terrace you will find 2 large log picnic tables seating 14 - ideal for late ski season winter bbqs. To the west sunseats and loungers will catch the sun all year round and to the front the terrace overlooks the tennis court. New for summer 09 - an outdoor table tennis table
We are keen gardeners, the balconies are draped in geranium and more pots of geranium and herbs decorate the terraces. It has been great fun choosing plants for Chalet Perdu. The flower beds are planted with herbaceous alpines and any rocket crevass provides a home for sedum and low gowing alpines. In spring just as the first snow melts the bulbs begin to emerge and quickly the garden is emersed in tiny red multi headed species tulip, next the narcissi and daffodils burst into flower. May sees the whole mountain erupt into a dramatic floral display which continues till the first snow -August brings the blueberry pickers to the mountain side and September is mushroom season. Autumn in Les Gets is eqaul to that of New England. In October the deciduous trees on the mountain develop into a fiery display of lime, orange, crimson and this contunues until the first snow arrives in November

A mazot is a preserved part of the heritage of Les Gets and unique. It is a small chalet, over 200 years old, opened by an ancient iron key. Originally a mazot was used to store the treasured possessions of the wealthier farming families -clothes, china, preserved meats - as there was such a high risk of fire in the traditional wooden farmhouses of the village.
The Mazot lies in the grounds of Chalet Perdu and has been converted to offer two guests luxury, romantic, bed and breakfast accomodation.
A breakfast hamper is delivered each morning by the chalet staff and champagne awaits your return each day from skiing. When booked separately from Chalet Perdu, the Mazot is offered on a bed & breakfast basis. Dinner can be booked in advance - Les Gets has an extensive range of fine alpine restaurants in an unspoilt village setting
An ideal weekend hideaway just one hour from Geneva, ensuring maximum skiing, superb restaurants and total relaxation.
A ski to dine route planner is provided, reservations can be made to ensure a fireside table on snowy days or a sunny table with a fantastic view. Les Gets has a gourmet ski atmosphere, long slow lunches, fine wines and delicious puddings or start the day with an early morning glass of champagne and a homemade macaroon overlooking the national park.
Freestanding clawfooted bath and separate shower, towelling robes & slippers are provided
